IT Officer

Job Overview:
As an IT Officer, you will play a key role in providing technical support, performing installations, and maintaining computer systems and network infrastructure. Your work will ensure the security, integrity, and stability of our IT systems. This position is vital for delivering reliable IT services and providing user support across our client and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scoping of client sites to determine IT setup requirements.
- Install and configure hardware/software and manage racking, stacking, and repairs.
- Provide technical assistance to the IT Project Manager.
- Handle daily maintenance of servers, routers, and workstations to ensure optimum performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and address help requests and job tickets.
- Manage data backups, ensure data integrity, and handle file restoration as needed.
- Oversee system administration tasks, including email and domain account management.
- Facilitate IT policy learning sessions and perform workstation audits.
- Identify and implement work improvement solutions to enhance internal processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in IT support, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, system maintenance, network management, and user support. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills are a must.
