Job Description
AREA PROJECT MANAGER
Summary of Functions:
The Area Project Manager shall be responsible for overseeing and directing multiple
construction project within his/her assigned area. Primarily responsible for ensuring that projects
are within the periodic scheduled accomplishment and budget. Area Operations Manager is also
responsible for ensuring that implementation of the projects conforms with the company’s standards
of quality, general safety and structural integrity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop project implementation standards to ensure scalability and business sustainability
Develop project implementation standards to ensure scalability and business sustainability
Ensuring all projects within the area are delivered on-time, within specification and within
budget; resolving operational challenges
Review and approve the submitted Project Execution Plan (PEP) including new or change
orders; maintain strong collaboration with the different members of the project team and
other stakeholders
Ensure that the execution of the project is consistent with the PEP
PEP Change Management including evaluation of all operational considerations,
consultation with the appropriate subject matter experts, and recommends the course of
action/plan.
Consolidation and periodic reporting on the overall accomplishments and project status of
all assigned projects
Document management on area-wide manuals, processes, procedures, work-instructions,
memorandums and other relevant documents
Propose and recommend solutions to manage risks
Lead a team of project managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals
Ensure compliance of all employees under the department with company’s policies and
operational guidelines
Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it
Coordination with the different business units
Qualifications:
1. Must be a licensed Civil Engineer.
2. At least has a 10 years and work experienced in a Managerial position is required for the
position.
3. Hands on experienced in civil works like Roads, Bridges, Drainage, Slope protection and
Building repair and construction is preferred.
4. Experienced in ports and harbor (reclamation works, construction wharfs, and pile driving
works) is an advantage.

5. Experience or background in roadworks construction is preferred
