Job Description

Overview: The Warehouse Manager or Assistant Manager (Department Head) is responsible for overseeing the efficient operations of a warehouse, ensuring that all processes related to receiving, storing, and dispatching goods are executed smoothly. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage both people and logistics in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory control, quality assurance, logistics, and customer service to ensure peak efficiency.
Team Leadership: Train, manage, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Inventory Oversight: Maintain accurate inventory records and implement systems for tracking product handling and storage requirements.
Safety Compliance: Establish and enforce safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe working environment in compliance with legal regulations.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics for transporting products to customers, ensuring timely delivery through effective communication with drivers and partners.
