Job Description

Daily preparation of food items in the kitchen stations
Setup stations according to standards and guidelines
Prepare all food items in a sanitary and timely manner based on the standards of the recipe in terms of quality and presentation.
Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications based on the standards of the recipe in terms of quality and presentation.
Follow and adhere to the standard preparation and serving time of orders.
Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature.
Maintain standard COGS by strictly following quantity of ingredients and portion sizes based on the standards of the recipe.
Restock all items and maintain back-up as needed throughout shift
Operate equipment following standard procedures, assists in some preventive maintenance and repairs in the work area to ensure stability and efficiency of use.
Cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, freezers, chillers, and all storage areas
Cleaning all dishes, work stations, cooking tools and equipment, and food storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Washing, chopping, shredding, and grating ingredients in preparation for cooking.
Sweeping and mopping floors regularly and as required.
Assisting with the unloading of deliveries.
Storing ingredients according to prescribed food safety regulations.
Reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to the Store Supervisor / Operations Support Supervisor.
Packaging customers' leftover food upon request.
Cleaning trash cans and disposing of waste on a regular basis.
Conform to the standard steps in “Extraordinary Guide” kitchen station.
Ensure operations excellence by adhering to the systems and standards of the store and the company’s core values.
Assist cashier and other service crews whenever such assistance is required.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned area / work station at all times by conducting 5S methodology before and after work, and as needed.
Arrive on time for all shifts and stay until shift completion.
Extend back support to other service stations.
Accomplish Daily Inventory Sheet on designated station.
Assisting with the monitoring of inventory on designated station.
Forecast stocks needed for re-ordering in a practical and efficient manner and send to head office for processing with corresponding lead time.
Work in a team environment and must possess the ability to communicate effectively with managers, co-workers and other stakeholders.
