Job Description
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and terms to secure advantageous contracts.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and align with budgetary constraints.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding procurement practices.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to orders, including discrepancies and returns.
- Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance and seek opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
