Purchasing Associate

About the Role

Bayfield Equipment Corporation, an affiliate of Kilton Motor Corporation is seeking a full-time Purchasing Associate to join our team in Carmona, Cavite. As a Purchasing Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement and inventory processes that underpin our successful manufacturing operations.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and source the required materials, components, and services needed for our manufacturing processes
-Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best possible pricing, quality, and delivery terms
-Manage the procurement of raw materials, parts, and other supplies to ensure timely delivery and maintain optimal inventory levels
-Liaise with stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that procurement activities meet their needs
-Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
-Maintain accurate records and documentation related to all purchasing activities
-Contribute to the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures

Qualifications:
-Relevant bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
-At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, technical buyer or any related role
-Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers
-Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
-Proficient in using procurement software and data analysis tools
-Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management principles
-Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
