Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the Construction Quality Management Program for assigned projects.
• Review and recommend approval of contractor quality control plans.
• Attend quality control meetings and monitor three-phase checklists for accuracy.
• Provide input on Government Quality Assurance (QA) and Contractor Quality Control (QC) reports.
• Validate the quantity, condition, and approval of materials on-site before invoice payments.
• Witness selected tests and review applicable test reports.
• Keep the Government sponsor informed about project status and progress.
• Independently plan and execute assignments while performing additional related duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Travel to various project sites as required.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Licensed Engineer or Registered Architect.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, focusing on materials testing and quality assurance.
• Knowledgeable in Construction Quality Management (CQM) and EM385 standards.
• Experience with pre-stressing works and concrete mix-designs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
