• Training Simulation – convert procedures, inductions and competencies into LMS linked, micro-credentialled, interactive CGI training sims for high retention, efficiency and engagement

About the role

We are seeking a talented and creative Instructional Learning Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be in charge of designing, developing, and implementing high-quality training programs and courses for our company. An innovative and detail-oriented individual with experience in instructional design and e-learning content development is required for this position. The successful candidate will collaborate with subject matter experts to develop engaging and effective learning materials that align with company goals and objectives.

This is a remote role.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop eLearner and training content, including strategy and approach to instructional design, quizzes and content modules.
• Perform needs assessments and analysis to determine learning objectives and outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to compile and evaluate content and learning objectives.
• Develop engaging and interactive eLearning modules using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Produce and edit instructional videos using Adobe Premiere or similar software (nice to have).
• Design assessment and evaluation tools/systems to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
• Implement stakeholders’ feedback to improve course content and delivery.
• Ensure all course materials are accessible and adhere to industry standards.

Qualifications
• Relevant work experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
• Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
• Proven experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual training platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Ability to work during Australian business hours.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work environment.

Preferred Skills
• Certification in instructional design or e-learning development.
• Experience with video editing software and graphic design tools.
• Familiarity with SCORM and other e-learning standards.
