About the role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Growth, we are seeking an experienced and creative Full Stack Website Developer who will lead in all aspects of web application, from user interface design and client-side scripting to server-side scripting, database management, and server configuration.
The role’s primary focus is to design, develop, test, and maintain the functionality and appearance of the website.
This is a remote role.

• Is an outgoing person who can build relationships quickly and also isn’t afraid to have a hard conversation with stakeholders
• Be passionate about website development and is also looking to enhance your career and expand your skillset
• Be methodical, structured, organised, and have excellent time management skills

Responsibilities
• Create and implement visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces
• Implement design using WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
• Develop front-end website architecture and design
• Design user interactions and interfaces on web pages
• Develop back-end website applications and services
• Create and manage databases and servers
• Ensure cross-platform optimisation and compatibility for mobile devices
• Ensure security and performance of web applications
• Perform quality assurance testing and debugging to identify and fix issues
• Implement security best practices to protect websites and data from vulnerabilities and cyber threats and ensure compliance with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and privacy regulations
• Write technical documentation and user manuals

Skills and Requirements
• 3+ years’ proven work experience as a Full Stack Web Developer
• Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong proficiency with WordPress, Elementor, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Knowledge of multiple back-end languages like Python, Ruby, Node.js, React, Java, PHP, Net.
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of web servers and hosting platforms, such as Apache, Nginx, AWS, Heroku, etc.
• Knowledge of web development tools and software, such as Git, Visual Studio Code, Sublime Text, etc.
• Knowledge of web design principles and best practices, such as UI/UX design, responsive design, accessibility, etc.
• Ability to work with different web development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban,etc.
• Knowledge in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360/Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
• Able to work during Australian business hours
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively and logically
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
