Job Description
1. Assist in conducting periodic inventory and maintaining a record of Laboratory Test Equipment (LTE) in the main laboratory and the field
2. Assist evaluation of the LTE status for repair or replacement in coordination with the Section Head
3. Assisting in providing/conducting scheduled LTE repair, calibration, and maintenance with the Section Head.
4. Provide inventory tag and identification of the LTE with the Section Head.
5. Assist in ensuring up-to-date Preventive Maintenance of all Universal Testing machines (UTM), Compression machines, and Los Angeles machines
6. Assist in monitoring the effectiveness and up-to-date calibration of all equipment.
7. Responsible for proper handling and usage of the laboratory equipment with Section Head supervision.
8. Responsible for orderliness, cleanliness, and securing of equipment, records, and laboratory documentation.
9. Responsible for risk identification in their respective departments, conduct risk assessments, and execute approved actions arising from risk assessment
JOB SPECIFICATION:
1. College-level graduate of Mechanical Technology/ Hydraulic Technology or any related course or undergraduate with at least 2 years of working experience in laboratory machines and equipment repair and maintenance.
2. Ability to diagnose defects in machines/equipment
3. Ability to independently plan and organize one’s activities.
