About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Services Manager to manage and ensure smooth operations of key corporate services functions, including Accounts, Human Resources, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Project Controls. This role is critical in ensuring the organisation's financial health, operational efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. Also, the role will be responsible in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, invoice preparation and chasing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and organisational skills to support the overall success of the organisation.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this remote-based role is pivotal in ensuring effective and efficient corporate services administration and providing accurate and timely financial information to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Oversee and streamline operations across Accounts, HR, ICT, and Project Controls to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives
• Monitor and report on the performance of corporate services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices
Financial Management
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentations
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
• Prepare invoice and ensure timely payment of clients
• Process payroll for onshore and offshore team members
• Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Monitor and analyse financial performance with a specific focus on EBIT, identifying key drivers of profitability and areas for cost optimisation
• Support in financial analysis and forecasting
• Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and variances
• Assist in the implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Provide support during audits and financial reviews
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Support the CEO in financial planning, risk management, and strategic decision-making
ICT Management
• Oversee the ICT department to ensure that technology infrastructure supports business operations and growth
• Manage the implementation of new systems and technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
• Ensure data security, compliance, and the efficient management of ICT resources
Human Resources Management
• Lead the HR function, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
• Oversee talent management, including recruitment, performance management, and employee development
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations and foster a positive and productive work environment
Project Controls
• Provide leadership and oversight to the project controls team, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project performance
• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project risks
Stakeholder Management
• Act as a liaison between corporate services and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, regulatory bodies, and key clients
Compliance and Risk Management
• Ensure that all corporate services functions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the organisation’s assets and reputation

Skills and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• CPA or CA certification preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate services management, with a strong background in finance and operations
• At least 3 years proven account management work experience, preferably with Australian companies
• Proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational efficiency
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in EBIT-focused management
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Xero and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of Australian relevant laws and regulations
• Strong financial analytics and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and ethical standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to corporate services management
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
