Job Description
• Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Develop strategic logistics plans to streamline the supply chain.
• Coordinate and optimize transportation routes for cost-effective and timely deliveries.
• Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Implement best practices for storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
• Establish and maintain quality control standards for incoming and outgoing goods.
• Evaluate vendor performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Implement safety training programs and maintain a safe working environment.
• Organizes weekly, monthly or quarterly meeting with the staff, whenever its necessary, for updating/reminding or information, discussion of special instruction and preventive and corrective actions for errors committed.
• Monitors and make it appoint that countermeasure are being done and implemented so as occurrence of the same problem/error/mistake will be eliminated.
• Makes sure that emails and inquiries are immediately acknowledge and acted upon by the team.
• Other tasks, as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistics management.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully overseeing complex logistics operations.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and logistics best practices.
• Familiarity with local and international trade regulations.
• Knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
