Inspired by our Mother, Olivia, and our Father, Pedro to whom we named our stall and famous Per Pedro Mi Amore Pizza. We started as a Food Stall with only five (5) pizza flavors on our Menu at Liberty Food Park, Dagupan in June of 2007. In March of 2018, we opened another branch at Robinson Place Pangasinan as a testament to how we tickled the taste buds of our pizza-loving pangasinenses. November 28, 2018, marks another milestone for Olivia’s, opening new doors to our first full-service restaurant. We have carefully picked our ingredients and made sure we serve only the most premium. Job Description

As a Captain Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing impeccable service, supervising the waitstaff, and assisting in the smooth operation of the restaurant. You will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service, customer satisfaction, and teamwork within the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service: Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor and provide them with a personalized dining experience.
Assist guests with menu selection, offer recommendations, and provide information about specials and promotions.
Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly.

Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the work of the waitstaff, ensuring they provide attentive and efficient service.
Train new staff members and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high service standards.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow.

Order Management: Take orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to tables.
Monitor the progress of orders and ensure they meet quality standards before serving.

Table Maintenance: Set up tables with the appropriate cutlery, glassware, and other necessary items.
Clear and reset tables efficiently to accommodate new guests.
Ensure that tables and dining areas are clean and well-presented at all times.

Problem Resolution: Address any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
Notify management of any escalated concerns or potential service disruptions.

Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
Provide detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to guests.

Upselling: Suggest additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to increase revenue and enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a waiter or server in a high-end restaurant.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent knowledge of food and beverage.
Leadership and supervisory skills.
Customer-focused with a strong commitment to providing exceptional service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
Formal training in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions:
