Inspired by our Mother, Olivia, and our Father, Pedro to whom we named our stall and famous Per Pedro Mi Amore Pizza. We started as a Food Stall with only five (5) pizza flavors on our Menu at Liberty Food Park, Dagupan in June of 2007. In March of 2018, we opened another branch at Robinson Place Pangasinan as a testament to how we tickled the taste buds of our pizza-loving pangasinenses. November 28, 2018, marks another milestone for Olivia’s, opening new doors to our first full-service restaurant. We have carefully picked our ingredients and made sure we serve only the most premium. Be greeted by our warm and hardworking staff! Some of them are working students. When you dine at Olivia’s, you also help us give a better future to deserving students to finish their studies.

Job Description

The Dining Staff in a fine dining setting is responsible for providing a high level of service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience through exceptional service, knowledge of the menu, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service:
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and any potential allergens.
Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly.
Ensure that guests' needs are met throughout their dining experience, including refilling beverages, addressing special requests, and ensuring timely service.
Food & Beverage Knowledge:
Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including wine pairings and cocktail offerings.
Offer recommendations to guests based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
Stay informed about new menu items, seasonal ingredients, and special events.
Table Management:
Set up dining tables with attention to detail, ensuring all tableware and settings are immaculate and consistent with the restaurant's standards.
Clear and reset tables promptly between courses and after guests have departed.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and related areas.
Upselling & Revenue Generation:
Suggest additional courses, drinks, and special menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Offer information on upcoming events, promotions, or other services offered by the restaurant.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other dining staff, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
Assist colleagues during busy periods to maintain service quality and efficiency.
Participate in pre-service meetings to review specials, guest notes, and any other pertinent information.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
Handle food and beverages safely and responsibly, following the restaurant’s guidelines.
Report any issues or incidents to the management immediately.
Guest Relations:
Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy, escalating to management when necessary.
Ensure that every guest leaves with a positive impression of their dining experience.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail knowledge.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and perform other tasks as needed in a dining environment.
