Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Specialist for our logistics team. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and supporting logistics staff while ensuring compliance with all HR policies and procedures. The HR Specialist will collaborate closely with department leaders to maintain a positive work environment and promote employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:
Partner with department heads to identify hiring needs in logistics and transportation.
Manage the full recruitment cycle, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and on-boarding new hires.
Develop talent pipelines for critical logistics roles, such as warehouse workers, drivers, and supply chain coordinators.

Training and Development:
Facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills in logistics operations, health and safety regulations, and technology use.
Work with managers to design career development plans for logistics staff, focusing on retention and professional growth.

Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues in compliance with HR policies.
Promote a positive work environment through employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives tailored to the logistics team.

Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure adherence to local labor laws and safety regulations within the logistics team.
Maintain accurate records of employee files, training certifications, and disciplinary actions.
Generate HR reports for management regarding hiring, retention, and employee performance.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the logistics.
Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and safety regulations.
Proven experience in recruitment and employee relations
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
