Senior Accountant

Our Oregon-based client is looking for a full-time Senior Accountant with a strong background in full-cycle GAAP accounting. In this role, you will handle journal entries, financial analytics, and manage multiple clients across diverse industries, including non-profits.

Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle GAAP accounting, including journal entries, full-accrual, and class tracking.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and conduct financial analytics.
- Handle multiple clients across various industries, including non-profit.
- Utilize advanced QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Excel skills to manage financial data.
- Work with Hubdoc, multiple payroll platforms, and merchant platforms, ensuring accurate reconciliation to QBO.
- Develop and refine accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage 1099 filings and sales tax reporting.
- Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of full-cycle GAAP accounting; CPA or CMA, a major advantage.
- Advanced technical skills in QBO, Excel, and familiarity with Hubdoc.
- Background in developing accounting policies and procedures, a plus.
- Experience working with multiple payroll and merchant platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple clients with diverse needs.
- Background in handling US clients.
- Must be a Philippine-based candidate.
