Network Administrator- Junior Level

The Junior Network Engineer will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure. This role will focus on supporting Cisco network devices, managing Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM, and working with VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of networking principles and practical experience with Cisco technologies and network management tools.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using various network tools and methodologies.
- Manage and maintain DNS, DHCP, and IP address management using Infoblox.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
- Work closely with senior network engineers to support network architecture and design initiatives.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 network support as needed.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Assist in network upgrades, migrations, and optimizations.
**Qualifications:**
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a plus
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Experience with network management and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
- Good to have Knowledge of VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Experience with network automation tools and scripting.
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices.
- Knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies.
