Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage a team of technicians, engineers, or technical staff.

2. Assign tasks and projects to team members based on their skills and expertise.

3. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure efficient operations.

4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the technical team, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.

5.Oversee daily technical operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.

6. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, providing support to the team.

7. Ensure that all technical work complies with company standards, industry regulations, and safety protocols.

8. Maintain and repair technical equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

9.Plan, coordinate, and manage technical projects from start to finish.

10. Monitor project progress, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.

11. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects.

12. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.

13. Identify areas for improvement in technical processes and procedures.

14. Implement new technologies, tools, or techniques to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

15. Develop and enforce technical standards and best practices.

16. Work closely with clients or customers to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.

17. Address and resolve any technical issues or concerns raised by customers.

18. Ensure that customer service levels are maintained at a high standard.

19. Ensure that all technical work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

20. Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

2. Relevant certifications may be required depending on the industry.

3. 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership position.

4. Strong technical knowledge in the relevant field (e.g., IT, mechanical, electrical, etc.).

5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.

6. Proficiency in using technical tools, software, and equipment.

7. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

10. Strong organizational and project management skills.
