Clinical Application Specialist
Himex Corporation, an established business active in the medical industry for over 30 years is looking for a hardworking, ambitious, and proactive accounting generalist to join our team and become a valuable member of our company.

Job Description:

● Performs diagnostic imaging procedures, such as X-ray examinations, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) scans
○ Follows instructions from Physicians regarding which area of the patient’s body needs imaging
○ Correctly positions the patient, adjusts the imaging equipment to the specified position
○ Produces diagnostic images, reporting important information to the Physician, and updating patients' records
● Talks the patient through the procedure and answers questions to lower their anxiety
● Maintains a safe and clean working environment
○ Monitors patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation to the patients and themselves
● Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating future needs and placing orders

What will you do:

• Carry out magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to best practice standards of radiographic technique.

• Provide a great experience for patients attending for MRI scanning, supporting them through the process from referral to results

• Run quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate
• Respect and work within patient's and service users' customs, values and spiritual beliefs, making sure their views are sought and considered.

• Support patient bookings and make sure Patient Information Systems are maintained with accurate and up-to-date information

• Understand and work in line with our suite of corporate policies supporting personal and clinical safety, including the Health and Safety Policy and Infection Prevention and Control Policy
