Job Description

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in IT documentation or a related field.
Experience with document management systems and tools.
Strong understanding of IT systems and processes.


Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.


Additional Skills (Preferred):

Experience in the aviation or transportation industry.
Knowledge of ISO 27001 or other information security standards.
Familiarity with technical writing tools and standards.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Document Management:

Develop and maintain a centralized repository for all IT documentation, including policies, procedures, standards, and technical specifications.
Ensure that all documentation is properly version controlled and archived.
Create and maintain indexes and catalogs for easy access to documentation.
Coordinate with IT teams to ensure documentation is updated regularly.


Quality Control:


1. Review documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

2. Identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies in documentation.

3. Ensure that documentation adheres to company standards and industry best practices.



Communication and Collaboration:


1. Collaborate with IT teams to gather information and develop new documentation.

2. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that documentation meets their needs.

3. Provide training and support to IT staff on documentation processes and tools.
