Job Description
Position Needed: ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the accounting team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and available.
- Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the parts and/or paints industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
