Job Description
• Require a Degree in Accounting
• Require 3 – 6 years of experience in Accounting applying knowledge of US GAAP
• Require proficiency with Word, Access and PowerPoint – ability to manage MS Access and databases, including required modifications and testing, troubleshooting and identifying cause of errors
• Advance skill on MS excel (Formulas, Data Menu tools (Retrieve/Transform Data, Queries/Connection)
• Proficiency and hands on experience on multiple accounting systems/software that interfaces to main accounting software/platform i.e. Oracle
• Basic knowledge in Supply Chain concept
• Required experience with general ledger journal entry preparation and documentation
• Required experience with balance sheet account reconciliations and documentation
• Require knowledge of Oracle or similar systems’ experience
• Require ability to multi-task effectively to support large variety of tasks and areas
• Require ability to work with large volumes of data and transactions as well as numerous interfacing computer systems and environments
• Ability to work flexible hours to support deadlines surrounding monthly close processes
• Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of operational, systems, finance, and accounting personnel.
• Ability to effectively evaluate and prioritize key deliverables and deadlines in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
• Ability to work well as a team player participating regularly in cross-functional project areas as needed
• Excellent (English) communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong PC skills – significant use of Microsoft Excel and Access
• Required excellent change management, organizational and documentation skills
