Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs), to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 

2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals and objectives. 

3. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making processes. 

4. Variance Analysis: Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast, investigating and explaining variances to stakeholders. 

5. Management Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. 

6. Strategic Planning: Support the development of long-term strategic plans, providing financial insights and analysis to guide decision-making. 

7. Investment Analysis: Evaluate investment opportunities, capital projects, and business initiatives, assessing their financial viability and potential impact on the organization. 

8. Cost Management: Analyze cost structures and drivers to identify opportunities for cost optimization, efficiency improvements, and expense control. 

9. Financial Forecasting: Forecast cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance to support short-term and long-term financial planning and decision-making. 

10. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by senior management, providing timely insights and recommendations. 

11. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, operations, and marketing, to gather data, share insights, and support cross-functional initiatives. 

12. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies, maintaining integrity and accuracy of financial data. 

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. 
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. 
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions. 
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus. 
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts and insights to non-financial stakeholders. 
Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, solve problems, and provide strategic recommendations. 
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. 
Professional certification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred but not required. 
Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and corporate finance concepts.

- Previous experience in a similar role in a corporate environment, preferably in a multinational or publicly traded company.
