Job Description

Job Overview:

As a Property Management Administrative Assistant, the candidate will play a key role in supporting the client's property management operations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, have a strong understanding of property management terms and possess exceptional letter-writing abilities. Yardi Voyager experience is good to have but is not a hard requirement.

Responsibilities:

• Tenant Correspondence: Create and proofread tenant letters, including rent increase notifications, welcome letters, and other relevant communications.

• Ledger Management: Research tenant ledgers for errors, omissions, and corrections based on lease reviews.

• Payables Management: Enter property management-related payables accurately and efficiently.

• Administrative Support: Perform additional administrative tasks as determined by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.

• Property Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of property management terms such as tenant ledgers, delinquency, 3-day notices, rent CAM (Common Area Maintenance), etc.

• Communication Skills: Highly skilled in letter writing, especially using templates.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented with excellent proofreading skills.

• Software Proficiency: Comfortable using Yardi Voyager for property management tasks.
