Qualifications
Technical skills: An IT specialist should have a strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking technologies, as well as experience with various operating systems and programming languages.
Problem-solving and analytical skills: IT specialists need to be able to identify and troubleshoot technical issues, and have the ability to analyze and solve problems.
Strong communication and customer service skills: As they are often interacting with non-technical stakeholders, they should be able to explain technical concepts in simple terms, and have strong customer service skills to interact with users and provide support.
Flexibility and adaptability: IT specialists should be able to work well under pressure and be able to adapt to new technologies and changes in the organization.
Attention to detail: IT specialist should be detail-oriented, and should be able to identify and correct errors in the systems.
Security knowledge: IT specialists should be familiar with security practices and technologies, and understand how to protect systems and data from unauthorized access.
