"Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints. Conducts initial interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; informs appropriate HR staff when additional investigation is required. Assists with recordkeeping related to termination, affirmative action, and disciplinary actions Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to HR Manager. Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to employee relation, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources. Assists with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks. Assists with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations. Performs other duties as assigned." The successful candidate will act as a port of call to employees and external partners for all HR-related queries. HR Administrators will handle the majority of employee documentation including contracts, paperwork, and reports.
Our successful hire must possess the following qualifications:
1) Forming and maintaining employee records
2) Uploading databases internally, such as sick and maternity leave
3) Preparing and amending where necessary HR documents i.e. employment contracts.
4) Communicating with external partners
5) Reporting regularly on HR metrics, such as company turnover
6) Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR-related queries.
7) Process employee benefits (company and statutory).
Skills and competencies:
1) Had a degree level, in either HR, management, or a business-related field.
2) Previous administrative experience is essential, but not necessarily within the HR sector.
3) With an understanding of various HR software systems, like HRMS
4) Computer literate with programs such as Word, excel, etc.
5) Good understanding of Philippine laws and benefits
6) Organizational skills and ability to prioritize
7) Interpersonal with good communicative skills.
