Associate Quality Assurance (WFH)

Salary (₱) 18,000 to 20,000

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field is preferred
2. Working knowledge in Robot Framework, Selenium, or other test automation tools is preferred but not required
3. Preferably 1 year of working knowledge in CRUD SQL, PL/SQL, or any other databases is required
4. Familiarity in CICD, Software Development Life Cycle, Microservices preferred
5. Familiarity with different tests like regression, performance, and functional testing preferred
6. Familiarity with writing RTMs preferred
7. Working knowledge in agile scrum methodology is a big plus
8. Natural problem solver and critical thinker
9. Detail-oriented and highly adaptive
10. Good communication skills
11. Proactive
12. Eagerly interested in Learning (willingness to learn)
13. Fast learner
14. Working knowledge in AWS and GCP Services is preferred but not required

Primary Functions:
The Associate QA (CL1) works with the project team and a QA Lead will help the company by helping the business and its clients research and review IT product and process advancements. And to make sure that the product, systems, or applications in development meet the needs of the end users.
Associate QA is in charge of conducting business analysis and quality assurance activities such as creating test scenarios and requirements traceability matrix, to ensure that there are no system gaps and that all requirements will drive improvements in different aspects of the business.
The Employee will directly report and under the direct supervision of the corresponding QA Lead and QA Manager, independent workability is not expected, however, a high sense of responsibility and working within a team with the mutual agreement is expected,

Regular Tasks:
1. Help in developing and monitoring the product’s quality strategy
2. Help identify future quality problems and assist with story creation
3. Ensure complete business requirements document/functional requirement/specification document
4. Ensure that all requirements are being captured and relayed and that there are no gaps
5. Gaining Product and Domain Understanding of the Primary Product they are assigned to.
6. Develop an understanding of Testing Foundations and best practices
7. Creation of requirements traceability matrix to validate features
8. Testing on the applications: Perform Functional and Non-Functional Testing (such as regression, functional, performance, etc.)
9. Have early/limited Implementations of Test Automation depending on product needs
(writing of test scripts and usage of keywords)
10. Learning different types of Testing Activities done in a SCRUM Sprint/ or in selected processes of development
11. Doing minor tasks provided by Mentor / Senior QAE/ Lead QAE
12. Configuration Management and Source Code Control understanding is good to have
13. Develop a Basic understanding of Defects and Release Management knowledge
14. Having limited soft skills, good for Scrum ceremonies/Development Cycle discussion and doing presentations within the team
15. Create/Monitor the Defect Leakage Report on the assigned project
16. Investigate Production Incidents on the assigned project
17. Make sure the Documents are monitored and up-to-date
