Quality Assurance Intern

Position Title: Quality Assurance Intern
Department: Technology/Engineering
Location: Amenable to work in both Makati and Alabang locations for two days a week (Hybrid Work Set-up)
Duration: 3 months

Job Summary:
- The Quality Assurance Intern will assist in maintaining the high quality standards of the company’s products and services. This position involves supporting the implementation of systematic quality checks, tests, and audits to ensure that products and services meet the predefined standards and customer expectations. The intern will work under the supervision of experienced quality assurance professionals and will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in various quality control methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Participate in the execution of test plans, including manual and automated tests, to identify defects and ensure the quality of products and services.
- Help document quality assurance activities and maintain records of testing, inspection, and other quality-related data.
- Collaborate with the development and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Support the preparation of reports on quality metrics, challenges, and improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to the review of quality standards, regulations, and practices to remain compliant with industry and legal requirements.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in Project Management Tool (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Notion) is a plus
- Proficient in Google Suite Tools (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Chats, Meets, Calendar) is a plus.
Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Knowledge of programming or scripting languages and automation tools is advantageous for technology-related quality assurance roles.
