Risk Management Officer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

CREDIT RISK
Risk identification analysis and measurement of BFC’s lending and borrowing activities mainly on a portfolio basis.
Evaluation and monitoring of the magnitude, direction, and distribution of credit risks across BFC and from a portfolio perspective.
Conducting tests on BFC’s portfolio so that risks can be properly assessed and measured.

OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGEMENT
Recommend appropriate policies and procedures related to operational risk management and controls to the Board of Directors and Senior Management.
Design and implement tools and a reporting system for operational risk assessment methodology for the company.
Coordinate risk management activities company-wide.
Consolidate all relevant operational risk information and reports to be presented to the Board and Senior Management.
Provide operational risk management training and advice to business units on operational risk management issues.
Coordinate with the Compliance Function, Internal Audit, and External Audit on operational risk matters.
Additional risks that BSP requires include Liquidity, Market, and HR..

QUALIFICATIONS:
The following qualifications are required:
A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in Risk Management either Credit or Operational risk (or both ).
Knowledge in liquidity risk is a plus, but a vast knowledge in Credit and Operational risks will be better.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
