Job Description

URGENT ! ! ! DIRECT HIRE ! ! !

1. Legal Advisory:
- Provide legal advice and guidance to management and various departments on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Review and draft legal documents, agreements, and contracts, ensuring they comply with applicable laws and company policies.

2. Contract Management:
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, review, and execution of contracts with customers, vendors, partners, and other third parties.
- Ensure contracts are in compliance with legal requirements and protect the company's interests.

3. Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations relevant to the company's operations and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.

4. Risk Management:
- Identify legal risks and potential liabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to minimize legal exposure.

5. Dispute Resolution:
- Manage legal disputes, litigation, and claims involving the company, working closely with external counsel as needed.
- Negotiate settlements and resolutions to minimize legal costs and reputational damage.

6. Corporate Governance:
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices.
- Prepare corporate documents, resolutions, and filings as required by law.

7. Training and Education:
- Provide training and education to employees on legal matters, compliance requirements, and company policies.
- Promote a culture of legal awareness and ethical conduct throughout the organization.

8. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal counsel, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and meetings as necessary.

Minimum Qualification Standards
- Bachelor’s degree in law or Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Bar in the jurisdiction where the company operates.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with at least 5 years in a corporate legal role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, employment law, intellectual property law, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Experience in [specific industry or practice areas, if applicable].
- Familiarity with legal technology and software tools.
