IT System Admin Supervisor

Responsibilities:
• Ensure good performance of IT personnel.
• Handle escalated issues as advises.
• Investigate and implement new technology and solutions to improve or optimize business operations.
• Ensure disaster recovery plan and strategy is in place for all critical systems.
• Audit and ensure best practice from an IT Security perspective.
• Be the point person for contact and relationship for IT vendors.
• Oversee performance and strategies for tasks of the rest of the department.
• Regular reporting to the Chief Technology Officer of major issues, & general performance of the department.
• Design an infrastructure and configuration management strategy.
• Utilizes software and hardware tools, identifies, and diagnoses complex problems and factors affecting network performance and takes corrective measure.
• Enforcing corporate information security policies and standards.
• Other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications:
• Seven (7) or more years’ experience in IT department
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or any other related course
• Strong initiative to improve operations and performance
• Experience in people management as well as handling the whole IT team
• Experience in leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving
• Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
• Experience with operating systems, databases, applications, and patch management
• Ability to create scripts and experience with automation tools
• Familiarity with various operating systems platforms, monitoring, and security system
