IT Administrator / System Developer

The IT Administrator/System Developer is responsible for ensuring the efficient functioning of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and software, as well as providing technical support to address issues and enhance business operations for both our organization and clients. This role involves a combination of IT support, system development, security, business continuity, and disaster recovery.

Roles and Responsibilities

IT Support
Provide technical support and assistance to resolve issues
Maintain and manage operating systems, business applications, security tools, cloud-based servers, email systems, and computers.
Continuously monitor system performance and subscription services.
Collaborate with external service providers to address technical issues and provide timely support.
System Development
Continuously monitor and enhance our CRM software, offering recommendations for the full utilization of system features.
Provide strategic advice on leveraging technology to achieve our goals
Manage IT initiatives, collaborate with staff, and support the implementation of new technologies.
Train users on new and existing IT systems.
Review and revise existing systems, suggesting improvements in architecture and functionality, and producing necessary reports.
Security
Identify and address problems, threats, and vulnerabilities in the IT infrastructure for both our organization and clients, including cyberattacks, hacking, and viruses.
Propose and implement effective solutions to enhance security
Business Continuity
Assist in establishing, implementing, and maintaining a business continuity policy to ensure the preservation of essential data and functions in case of unexpected interruptions.
Disaster Recovery
Ensure the timely recovery of data and functions to minimize the impact of unforeseen events, including force majeure or other unprecedented circumstances.
Qualifications

More than 3 years experience in IT role
Extensive experience in system development, showcasing a commitment to innovation
Strong grounding in basic IT architecture principles.
Configure and maintain network equipment, including printers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Knowledgeable in programming languages, including HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript.
Proficiency in API integration and the ability to design and implement solutions
Comprehensive knowledge of managing complex, interlinked databases, with a particular focus on security, data integrity, disaster recovery, bulk data import/export procedures
In-depth understanding of computer hardware components, including processors, motherboards, peripherals, and accessories
Expertise in PC/LAN application software and Microsoft products
Proficiency in configuring and managing Microsoft DHCP and DNS records
Adept at cloud computing, with a demonstrated ability to configure and maintain virtual environments
Exceptional verbal written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and concisely
Strong troubleshooting skills to address complex IT challenges effectively
A proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving, always seeking innovative solutions
Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills in a dynamic, fast paced environment
High levels of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information, including client data
Proven client management skills, with the ability to understand and address client-specific IT requirements
A self-starter with the capacity to work independently and the commitment to continuous learning and improvement
