Job Description

Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plantation Manager to oversee our coffee plantation operations, particularly focusing on Arabica coffee variety and related fields. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in agriculture, specifically in coffee plantation pre and post-harvest production.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of coffee plantation operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and processing.
Supervise and lead a team of workers, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
Implement best practices for coffee cultivation, including pest and disease management, irrigation, and fertilization.
Monitor and maintain plantation infrastructure, equipment, and facilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, local communities, and suppliers.
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports on plantation performance, yields, and expenses.
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing Arabica Coffee plantations or other similar agricultural operations.
Extensive knowledge of coffee cultivation, pre and post-harvest production processes, and quality standards.
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and motivating diverse teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with stakeholders and foster community relations.
Ability to speak Ilocano, Tagalog, and English dialects is preferred.
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prepare accurate reports and analyze data.
Trustworthy and reliable, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and company values.
