Senior Mortgage Broker (Australian)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We're hiring a Senior Mortgage Broker to lead our team. This role involves supervising our Australian/Manila branch and guiding a team of mortgage brokers to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, developing growth strategies, and building key relationships with stakeholders.

We're looking for someone with extensive experience in mortgage brokering and a deep understanding of the Australian mortgage market. Strong leadership, team management, and business development skills are essential. Experience with staff recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, and training is also required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Manila-based branch.
- Led and mentor a team of mortgage brokers, providing guidance and support on deals and complex transactions
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase market share
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, real estate agents, and clients
- Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in lending policies and regulations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Monitor and analyze branch performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Do some training in the team.
- Hands-on approach to leading and developing a remote team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mortgage broker in the Australian market
- 3+ years of experience managing a team
- Experience with recruitment & onboarding/offboarding staff.
- Experience with doing some training with the teams.
- Hands-on approach to leading and developing a remote team.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- In-depth knowledge of lending policies and regulations in Australia
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with team & clients.
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications and software
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup
- Can start ASAP.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Offer: Php60,000.00 - Php75,000.00 per month (Open for negotiation)
