Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineers

Job Description:

1. Responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the company.

2. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the company and adhering to reliability, performance, and customer expectation. 3. Inspection of products is part of the job with the obligation to report and document findings.

3. Checking that raw materials or components involved in the production process are of suitable quality.

4. Inspecting production machinery and employees to make sure the production process runs smoothly

5. Writing production plans that minimize risk of mistakes during production

6. Estimating time involved in assuring each product’s quality

7. Meeting project deadlines

8. Writing and reviewing testing plans

9. Performing stress tests that expose the product to increased temperature, vibration, and humidity

10. Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing phase

11. Assessing whether employees need the training to prevent mistakes during production

12. Creating test plan automation procedures

13. Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future mistakes during production

14. Communicating with other departments such as project management and engineering to coordinate scheduling for QA testing

15. Reporting discovered defects to all relevant departments for correction
