KEPCO ILIJAN CORP is a Combined-Cycle Power Plant/dual-fuel power station in Ilijan, Batangas City. It is primarily a natural gas plant and uses distillate oil as a secondary backup fuel source. With a nameplate capacity of 1200 MW, it is one of the largest natural gas facilities in the Philippines. The plant is designed to draw natural gas from the Malampaya gas field. The Ilijan plant's construction began in March 1999 and was commissioned in June 2000.

Job Description

Job Description:
• Develop and explore business opportunities, projects, partnerships, and/or investments based on KPHI's business development requirements
• Provides active participation in securing and negotiating power supply agreements, including participation in competitive selection process and/or green energy auction program, whichever is applicable
• Develops and maintains professional relations with industry stakeholders, government/regulatory bodies and potential business partners
• Provides effective strategies and negotiation skills to approach potential/new projects and accordingly further it towards project completion
• Prepares energy price estimates, forecasts, and trends based on market research
• Conducts and analyze market studies for power projects, particularly in supply and demand forecasting
• Evaluate and analyze project financing proposals to identify the most ideal financing arrangements/structure for the company's power projects
• Participates in meetings and discussions with internal and external partners like finance institutions to understand regulations and tax treatments

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree holder
• With 2 years of experience in Power Generation
• Good understanding of laws, rules, and regulations pertinent to the power industry
• With a track record in dealing with industry stakeholders, government or regulatory bodies, and potential partners
• Knowledge of marketing studies/forecasts, strategies, and techniques
• Good understanding of accounting and finance
• Team player, fast learner, good communication skills, and can easily adapt to any level in the organization
• Willing to work in Makati City and travel to project sites as needed.
