MARKETING DIRECTOR
REPORTS TO: CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
BUSINESS UNIT: EHI
WORK UNIT : CORPORATE OPERATIONS
SALARY RANGE : 90,000 – 125,000
SUPERVISES: N/A ADDITIONAL PREMIUM: ANNUAL BONUS
JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Strategy and Marketing Director (CSMD) is primarily responsible for driving the corporate strategic
planning, marketing operations, and product development in the organization.
He/She develops strategies to accomplish the company’s goals and objectives leading to financial growth. The
CSMD will identify and evaluate market potential and long-term trends, collect competitive intelligence, drive
cross-functional business processes, and maintain business model innovation.
The CSMD is expected to build and lead the marketing team, set the goals and objectives of the marketing
department, and develop plans and programs for the marketing campaigns. He/She works to promote the
company's products or services and oversee all aspects of marketing, including market research, product
development, advertising, and public relations.
The CSMD manages the product portfolio and roadmap to create the best possible products for the company’s
clients. He/She oversees all aspects of the development of new products and services, well as maintaining and
updating existing ones. It encompasses the entire lifecycle of a product, from initial idea to launch and beyond.
He/She works with cross-functional teams to ensure that all offerings are delivered on-time and in-full.
He/She sets up efforts to standardize Product Development and Marketing processes and procedures for each
Business Unit need adhere to. He is also the champion for the Customer Delight programs of the group.
The CSMD is also directly in-charge of developing and managing the Corporate Support Services product portfolio
and marketing strategies.

1. Analyzes market dynamics, market share
changes, product line performance, and
competitive intelligence.
2. Collaborates with senior management to
develop and implement operational strategies
aligned with the organization's overall goals
and objectives.
3. Assesses and anticipates operational
requirements and challenges, providing
proactive solutions to enhance efficiency.
4. Develops suitable metrics to measure
performance and progress of identified
strategic plans.

1. Develops and implements a unified approach
to customer service, distribution, and market
demands by defining marketing and pricing
strategies, identifying market trends, and
guiding research efforts.
2. Oversees marketing plan implementation,
marketing functions and operations, and build
a high-performing marketing team while
cultivating strategic partnerships.
3. Develops corporate communications, public
relations, and crisis management plans making
sure that all marketing campaigns work to
build brand loyalty and guarantee a positive
experience for users.
4. Ensures all marketing campaigns are executed
on-time and within budget.

and making data driven decisions, to
enhance efficiency of existing business

2. Leads the creation of product roadmap of
new offerings and defining user experiences
by conducting research, analyzing the
market and engaging with key stakeholders.
3. Leads marketing research, testing
prototypes, writing specifications, and
preparing business case presentations for
stakeholders before approving funds for
production.
4. Oversees the planning, execution, and
optimization of key operational processes
for new businesses established.
COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualification Standards
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business
administration, management, or any business –
related course
At least 15 years of relevant work experience,
min. of 8 years managerial experience. Must
have experience in Product Development,
Marketing, Sales and/or Project Management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint.

Director should possess the ability to interpret and
analyze market trends, identify potential
opportunities and threats, and develop strategies to
capitalize on emerging trends.
2. Conducting market research: The Director should
have expertise in designing and executing market
research programs, including both qualitative and
quantitative research methods, to gather insights into
customer needs, preferences, and behaviors.
3. Strategy Planning and Execution: The Director must
have the skill in synchronizing strategies with
corporate center plans and interpret long-term plans
into short-term projects based on market dynamics,

4. Brand Management: The SMD must have proficient
skills in competitive analysis, brand positioning, brand
strategy, digital marketing, social media management,
content management, search engine management,
internal communication, and event management.
3. Collaborating with stakeholders: The Director
should be adept at collaborating with cross-functional
teams, including sales, marketing, product
development, and finance, to ensure that market
insights are effectively integrated into business
decisions and strategies.
