Job Description
The Quality Improvement Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of utilization management processes within the organizations. They will also ensure quality and effectiveness as well as compliance with all the relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing or any medical-related course.
At least 1 year work experience in utilization review and quality assurance.
Had clinical experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Knowledgeable in healthcare accreditation standards and quality improvement methodology.
Knowledgeable in electronic health record systems and healthcare information technology.
Knowledgeable in healthcare compliance and privacy regulations, such as HIPAA; and
Certification in Utilization Review (UR) and Quality Assurance (QA) is a plus.
Utilization Review: 1 year (Preferred)
Quality Assurance: 1 year (Preferred)
Clinical Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
