Job Description

This will be a hands on role managing all HR activity for our growing team in Manila. You will also support HR for our US & Canada on/offshore sites. Working for the HRBP and as part of the global HR team you will have a varied role which incorporates the whole employee lifecycle in a number of different countries.

It is essential you are a strong communicator with an excellent ability to build good and trusting working relationships.

Key responsibilities:

• Working with the talent acquisition team, issue offers of employment and contracts, ensuring compliance regarding right to work for the Philippines, US & Canada and oversee offers in the other regions you are responsible for.
• You will work very closely with the HR Managers and HRBPs globally, working as a team to support the wider APAC region.
• Maintain a smooth onboarding process for our new members in your regions of responsibility.
• Working with L&D to support people development as needed.
• Management of all employee relations (ER) for the Philippines, and support of US & Canada as required for on/off shore employees, to include building an understanding of employment law for the countries supported.
• Working with the wider HR team, review and implementation of all local employment law and statutory requirements for the regions you manage and support, to include the management and roll out of local employment law and policies.
• Handling workplace investigations, disciplinary, and termination procedures along with resolving conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
• Submission of monthly payroll data and reporting for your regions.
• Management of the leaver process for your regions.
• Maintenance and reporting within our HRIS (Cezanne) and team activity trackers.
• Oversee and manage all HR admin’ transactional activity for your team (on or offshore), annual leave, absence reporting, promotions and changes along with working with the global team to develop and implement controls to ensure accurate and timely HR and Payroll Administration.
• Supporting the Head of HR and HR Director with OD and change management where needed (on or offshore).
• Reporting and support of the monthly performance evaluation process.
• Drive adherence to company HR administration processes and policies.
• Supporting the global HR team – be available to support our global HR team and work together on wider business projects.
• Build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders and hold a position of confidentiality and trust.

Skills needed:

• 5 years+ HR experience.
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment/HR department.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Commercial understanding and pragmatic approach to HR.
• Previous experience managing complex employee relations cases.
• Strong employment law knowledge within the APAC region.

Desirable skills:

• HR qualification.
• Previous experience managing payroll administration.
• Experience using Excel at an Intermediate – advanced level.
• Organized and methodical approach.
