Job Description
Schedule: Night shift
Location: Paranaque City
Role and Responsibilities:
Writing stories from press releases and important company announcements in an efficient and timely manner in line with the publication’s house style. These will include articles about new transactions, company results, appointments and planning applications.
Uploading articles to News’ content management system and working closely with News’ Head of Content Strategy to ensure that articles are published in the most effective and impactful way. This will include ensuring optimal standards are met through layout and search engine optimization.
Experience and Skills Required:
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Communication Arts or any related course
Experience in using managing operational support tools, particularly CMS, WordPress or
Project management experience related to managing CMS
Experience in Content Management (article and image tagging, etc)
Ability to simplify complex announcements into clear and easy to understand pieces for readers
A track record of having adapted to be able to present information in the style of particular publications
Basic understanding of business and the economy
Exceptional written English and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
