Job Description

Supervise the HR Management in supporting the department’s day-to-day operations
Lead recruitment activities - ensures the company standards as well as local regulations are followed in all hiring processes; coordinates all stages of the hiring process, including updating job descriptions, HC approval, source/screen/interview candidates, background checks, arranging pre-employment medical examinations and drug screening while ensuring the hiring process is compliant with all local employment laws and company process.
Employee onboarding and orientation: Supervise and implement the onboarding process for new hires according to company process, conduct orientation sessions to familiarize employees.
Training and development: Identify skill gaps within the workforce and develop training progress to address them. Coordinate training initiatives related to safety, technical skills and soft skills.
Success: Administer the [email protected] process. Provide guidance and coaching to local management team on performance feedback and improvement.
Employee relations – Address employee concerns, grievances and conflicts. Promote a positive work environment and foster employee engagement. Mediate disputes and maintain effective communication channels.
Labor relations: Stay informed about labor laws/regulations in Philippines that affect the operations. Manage external relations with government agencies – coordinates with local and national government units like DOLE, DILG and DOH on matters that affect the company’s employees.
HR Administration: Manage employee benefit packages including health/welfare plans, leaves and company-sponsored events – serves as first point of contact for questions regarding benefits; assists employees in applying benefit forms in a timely manner and does the necessary follow ups; Maintains all files related to benefits administration
Oversees arrangements for company events;
Manage employee records – ensures all employee 201 files and training records are complete and updated, as necessary; ensures compliance with all national laws including, but not limited to, mandatory posting updates, form requirements and training records
Support the company’s safety program – collaborates with the Company Safety Officer in safety culture development among employees; assists in training, communicating OSH-related materials and OSH-related audits
Social Accountability Compliance: Prepare for audits – leads the preparation and arrangements for the Supplier Workplace Accountability (SWA) Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) and external audit; handles audits by different government agencies, if any; assists other management team members prepare for FSMS (ISO, BRC), FSC/PEFC certification and customer audits.
Data analysis and reporting: Collect and analysis HR data to identify trends and make informed recommendations; Preparer reports on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, absenteeism etc.
Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in HR functions. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Perform other duties that may be assigned by management.
COMPETENCIES AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Strong background in Human Resource management with at least 5 years solid hands on and management experience preferably in manufactory at 2 years in supervisory level in MNC in Philippines.
Have strong experience in HR operation, working close with other Department superiors
Proven successful experience in strong team building and management skills.
Expert in labour laws set by the local governing authorities and organizations
Good command of both written and spoken English and Filipino.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with good sense in customer service and problem solving.
Can work independently without supervisory.
