Job Description
To succeed in this role, you need to have comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping, auditing, and budgeting processes. Our ideal candidate is extremely professional, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
▪ Monitor and review accounting documents and reports for accuracy and completeness.
▪ Compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries to update general ledgers and trial balance.
▪ Check and review accounting business transactions such as check vouchers, official receipts, bank reconciliations,
other related accounting data.
▪ Prepare monthly and quarterly BIR compliance report of withholding tax and VAT.
▪ Prepare quarterly and yearly BIR compliance report of Income Tax.
▪ Prepare and remit monthly contributions of SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-ibig.
▪ Prepare monthly profit and loss summary, balance sheet, and cash flow.
▪ Review quarter performance of accounting personnel and make necessary adjustment for work improvement.
▪ Facilitate annual renewal of all related documents to secure business permit, BIR registration, and other
documents requested by government agencies.
▪ Filing of confidential documents related to company.
▪ Prepare weekly disbursement requests for funding.
▪ Prepare income and cost projection for new projects.
▪ Perform other related duties.
• Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
• Assess all business transactions and prepare accurate reports on your findings.
• Coordinate with employees on income tax research and planning.
• Conduct periodic audits to guarantee accuracy in financial records, expenses, and savings.
• Organize and file all federal, state, and local income tax documents.
• Contribute to budgeting procedures.
• Regularly brief management on the company’s financial position and recommend solutions to improve results.
• Develop and implement effective accounting policies and processes.
• Ensure you remain up-to-date on industry changes and changes in regulations.
• Respond to tax and accounting-related issues.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as a public accountant.
• CPA certification is a requirement.
• Outstanding tax knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
