About the job: Lead Azure DevOps engineer - WFH/Remote
Due to logistical reasons, only Philippine-based applicants are accepted.
TASQ is seeking a lead Azure DevOps engineer for a remote role with working hours from 5 pm to 2 am. Due to logistical reasons, we can only select Philippine-based applicants.
Our primary focus is on Azure technology. This position offers numerous opportunities to expand your expertise within Microsoft and Azure, all within a dedicated environment that emphasizes technical excellence and exceptional client service. Just six months on our team can equate to years of experience elsewhere.
Our strong global partnership with Microsoft provides us with access to innovative Azure projects and direct collaboration with the teams behind the platform. This unique advantage sets us apart.
We offer a competitive salary package, allowances, standard benefits, and performance-based bonuses paid quarterly and annually.
The company promotes a supportive work environment and culture, with flexible options for remote work.
The role involves leading efforts to implement DevOps solutions using Azure. It is a technical, consultative, and client-facing position responsible for developing, delivering, and supporting client solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in consulting, with successful experience in technical implementations and project execution.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the design and delivery of cloud solutions for clients, collaborating with solution architects, and supporting project efforts from a technical perspective.
You will be involved in implementing solutions into client environments and assisting with the deployment of workloads into Azure.
Providing technical expertise across four main areas is essential: data center transformation, Azure infrastructure, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should possess over five years of experience in system administration (Windows or Linux), DevOps, software development, or IT operations.
At least three years of experience in migrating and deploying cloud-based solutions is required.
Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Ansible (or similar) is necessary.
Experience implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent tools is essential.
A minimum of one year supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure or similar experience with AWS or GCP is preferred.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, Groovy, or related languages are important, with experience in any public cloud environment.
Familiarity with various cloud deployment strategies and an understanding of modern cloud ecosystems and emerging technologies are highly valued.
Candidates should demonstrate skills in performance analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation techniques.
Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
The ability to work independently or as part of a virtual team is essential.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is expected.
Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Chef, Puppet, Docker, or Kubernetes, and holding relevant Microsoft certifications.
