Finance Analyst (Controller)

Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Reporting
• Oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly management reports and local financial statements.
• Reconcile local books with group reporting requirements.
Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with BIR, PEZA, and local tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure timely submission of tax filings and statutory reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for compliance reviews.
Cost Control & Operational Finance
• Track and report production costs, BOM variances, and cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Partner with plant management to analyze expenses and drive cost-saving initiatives.
• Monitor local procurement, vendor payments, and inventory accounting.
Cash Flow & Treasury
• Manage local banking relationships and monitor cash flow requirements.
• Coordinate with HQ on intercompany payments, fund requests, and FX transactions.
• Prepare weekly cash position updates and projections.
Internal Controls & SOPs
• Establish and enforce finance-related SOPs in line with HQ policy.
• Oversee internal controls around procurement, asset management, and payroll.
• Conduct periodic risk reviews and recommend improvements.
Team Management & HQ Coordination
• Supervise local finance staff and ensure accurate task execution.
• Work closely with Singapore Head of Finance on consolidation, group audit, and budgeting processes.
• Support monthly group reporting, capex tracking, and intercompany reconciliations.

Qualifications:
• CPA-qualified accountant with at least 5–7 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards, BIR/PEZA compliance, and local labor-related finance rules.
• Experience in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) preferred.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
• Strong communication skills; ability to coordinate with multinational teams and HQ counterparts.
