Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Finance Manager to lead financial planning, analysis, and business partnering efforts that empower key decision-making across our client's commercial teams.
Role Overview
As a Sales Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Commercial Finance team by delivering strategic financial insights, optimizing pricing and margins, managing forecasts, and driving profitability across the business. You will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and senior management to ensure effective resource allocation and financial alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Assess commercial performance, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles in partnership with commercial teams.
- Pricing & Margin Strategy: Analyze pricing, margins, and sales trends to boost profitability.
- Business Partnering: Provide financial support to sales and operations, including new opportunities and contract evaluation.
- Financial Planning: Develop models and business plans that support strategic decision-making.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare dashboards and KPIs to monitor commercial outcomes and guide leadership decisions.
- Cost & Risk Management: Analyze costs, suggest efficiency improvements, and mitigate financial risks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across departments to ensure financial alignment and support.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field—CPA license is highly preferred
- With at least 2 to 3 years of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, and budgeting
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel expertise required)
- Excellent grasp of financial principles and regulations
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience partnering with sales, operations, or cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Strategic thinker with a business-driven mindset
- Willing to work in the Eastwood area, QC, on hybrid work arrangement (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)
