Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Service Technician/Mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles, especially trucks, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and completing repairs according to industry and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on company vehicles
Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections
Ensure all repairs are completed safely and effectively
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals as needed
Collaborate with the fleet team to schedule repairs and upkeep
Conduct road tests to verify repair quality
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational or technical training in automotive or mechanical repair preferred
2-3 years of relevant experience as a mechanic (automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment)
Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Ability to read technical manuals and operate diagnostic tools
Physically fit and with strong manual dexterity
Basic computer knowledge for logging maintenance reports
Must have a valid driver's license
