Job Description
Systems Administrator
Responsibilities:
- Install, support, and maintain servers and other computer systems.
- Install and configure software applications.
- Apply operating system and application/software updates, patches and configuration changes.
- Plan for and respond to service outages and other system or network related issues.
- Provide technical support.
- Perform system backup and system performance tuning.
- Maintain system and server security.
- Document system configuration.
- Performs system performance tuning
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Ensure that the server and system environment is up and running.
- Perform security roles by creating, revoking, locking, and applying strong password rules, remove expired login accounts, and terminate rogue processes.
- Other related functions that may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent field
- Has 2-3 years of work-related experience with Windows
