Warehouse and Logistics Manager

We are looking for a reliable logistics and warehouse manager reponsible for warehouse operations. In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time. You will be involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

Job Role:

Oversee incoming shipments; verify quantities, quality, and documentation; coordinate with purchasing/procurement for discrepancies.
Sort and categorize new goods according to SKU, product type, shelf life, and storage requirements
Determine optimal storage locations (e.g., shelving, pallet positions) based on product characteristics, turnover rate, and space utilization; implement and maintain clear location labeling.
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliation; monitor stock levels, minimum/maximum thresholds, and alert stakeholders of low-stock or overstock situations.
Track ageing or slow-moving items
Identify obsolete, expired, or damaged goods; oversee proper disposal or return processes
Supervise warehouse staff involved in receiving, put-away, picking, and packing; assign tasks, provide training on inventory procedures
Collaborate with sales and logistics teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts, incoming orders, and distribution plans
Requirement:

Proven working experience as a logistics manager
Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
