Job Description
The Company Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees through effective medical care, first aid response, and health education. This role involves providing immediate medical assistance in case of workplace accidents or illness, maintaining accurate health records, and assisting in health-related compliance with government regulations.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Administer first aid and emergency medical treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
2. Conduct initial assessments of employees' health complaints and monitor patients under observation within the clinic.
3. Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records and ensure proper documentation of clinic visits and treatments.
4. Organize health and wellness programs, awareness campaigns, and educational sessions to promote a healthy lifestyle among employees.
5. Respond quickly to emergency situations and ensure appropriate care is given. Assist in the creation and implementation of emergency response plans.
6. Monitor and manage medical supplies and equipment; ensure the clinic is fully stocked and functional at all times.
7. Assist with compliance in relation to health and safety regulations, including reporting workplace injuries and illnesses to government agencies (e.g., DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, etc.).
8. Liaise with hospitals, clinics, or occupational health physicians when referrals or further medical attention is needed.
9.Facilitate annual physical exams, vaccination programs, drug testing, and other health-related activities.
10. Support HR and the Safety Officer in implementing occupational health and safety standards and policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN), with an updated PRC License
Preferably with experience in Occupational Health or Industrial Nursing
Certification in Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH for Nurses) is an advantage
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office and maintaining medical records
Salary Range: Php 20,000 - Php 25,000
