Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Requirements Gathering
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical infrastructure requirements.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
Analyze current infrastructure capabilities and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.

2. Documentation
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and system architecture diagrams.
Ensure documentation is clear, consistent, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Maintain version control and ensure documentation reflects the latest changes and decisions.

3. Project Coordination
Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of infrastructure projects.
Track project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies using project management tools.
Facilitate communication between business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
Prepare and distribute project status reports and escalate issues as needed.

4. Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure infrastructure initiatives comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
Identify potential risks related to infrastructure changes and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and insights.
Maintain a risk register and ensure timely updates and communication of risk status.

5. Testing and Validation
Develop and execute test plans and scripts for infrastructure components and changes.
Coordinate testing activities including system integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Document test results, track defects, and ensure resolution before deployment.
Validate that infrastructure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT infrastructure or enterprise technology environments.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components such as networks, servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in documentation and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Visio, MS Office Suite).
• Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
